PS5 DualSense Controller — 20261014
The second generation of the locally drawn SVG: the LLM authored and revised the markup itself, guided by a vision-model critique loop rendered through a headless browser.

- Model
- Qwen3.8-Flash-Next (Uncensored), Q8_0
- Inference engine
- Strata v0.1.43.1, MTP4 speculative decoding, 262K context

What's in the drawing
- Body & grips — correct DualSense silhouette with flared grips, two-tone white shell with gradient shading, outer-edge contour shading and inner highlights
- Adaptive triggers (L2/R2) and bumpers (L1/R1) peeking above the top edge, with seam lines
- Trapezoid touchpad flush with the top contour, blue LED light pipe along its seams
- Angled Create / Options pill buttons flanking the touchpad
- D-pad built as four separate directional buttons, matching the real hardware
- Face buttons — dark translucent caps with engraved grey Triangle / Circle / Cross / Square glyphs, as on the actual DualSense
- Dual analog sticks in recessed dark wells with concave dish tops
- Speaker grille, PS button with PlayStation family logo, mic mute pill with blue LED ring and mic icon
- Bottom edge: 3.5 mm jack, gold charging contacts, USB-C port shading
How it was made
- The previous single-pass version was critiqued by a vision model from a headless-browser render; its flaws (missing grips, inverted color zoning, connected cross D-pad, floating touchpad) drove the new layout.
- Each revision was rasterized to PNG, re-critiqued, and patched — zoomed crops verified the D-pad, face buttons, PS logo and mic button pixel by pixel.
- The local LLM also generated a full competing SVG from a detailed spec; the hand-refined version won the visual comparison and kept the model's four-piece D-pad construction.
The file is pure hand-authored SVG (25 KB, XML-validated) and scales cleanly at any resolution — open it in any browser or vector editor. The first version remains at /ai/ps5-controller.html.
